The artwork presents scenes from the life of Krishna, particularly episodes with the cowherds gopas and cows in Vrindavan. The composition is divided into panels of red, blue, and yellow, characteristic of the Malwa style of painting. Inscribed upper to the center. The painting is complemented by carefully executed calligraphic manuscript text, and probably signed, on the backside.
