ANTIQUE 19TH C RUSSIAN ICON OF CHRIST IN SILVER RIZA - An antique Russian Orthodox icon depicting Christ Pantocrator The Lord Almighty, also known as Savior Jesus Christ, dating to the late 19th century. The icon is hand painted in traditional mixed media, using egg tempera over gesso and levkas on a wooden panel. The image is embellished with an 84 silver riza oklad, finely engraved with traditional ornamental patterns.
