The lobed, oval-form box features a hinged lid adorned with applied scrolling foliate corner motifs and a central royal crown positioned above an interlocking monogram. Inside, the lid is finely engraved with Arabic script reading ”Abdeen Palace” alongside the wedding date ”15 March 1939” and its Islamic calendar equivalent ”24 Muharram 1358”. The underside is stamped with the maker's mark ”A.H.
