JAPANESE SPRING WOODBLOCK PRINT BY TSUCHIYA KOITSU - A Japanese woodblock print entitled, Spring snow in Maruyama, Kyoto, by the renowned shinhanga artist Tsuchiya Koitsu, 1870 to 1949. The original design was created and first published in March 1936. Inscribed with Calligraphy and a red seal in the print, lower left. Framed. Tsuchiya Koitsu, a prominent figure in the shin hanga new woodblock print movement, which revived the traditional Japanese art of woodblock printing using modern techniques.
