Luigi Lucioni was an Italian-born American painter and printmaker best known for his detailed portraits, still lifes, and landscapes of the Vermont countryside. Completed in a style reminiscent of realist painters Winslow Homer and Thomas Eakins, Lucionis paintings are meditative and meticulous, though the Modernist works of Paul Cezanne have also influenced the artist.
