LOT OF AMERICAN BATTLE SCENE WASHINGTON ENGRAVINGS - A collection of three engravings. The first depicts an aerial view of Washington, D.C., with the Washington Monument dominating the foreground after an original lettersheet published by Charles Magnus circa 1850. The second: an engraving, Battle of Tippecanoe 1859 after the original painting by Alonzo Chappel in the possession of the Publishers, Johnson Fry and Co Publishers, New York. The third: an antique colored engraving from 1838, titled Washington, View from the Presidents House, by W. H. Bartlett, was published in N. P. Williss book American Scenery. Each is titled, inscribed and marked in the print in the lower margin. Antique and Vintage American Graphic Art Prints and Collectibles. Dimensions Largest Frame 12 x 14 in. Image 7 x 8 1/2 in.
