The artwork depicts a Parisian embankment with Notre Dame de Paris in the background. Signed in the lower right. Undated. Framed. Robert W. Pilot was renowned for his Impressionist landscapes. He studied under his stepfather, Maurice Galbraith Cullen, and later attended the Academie Julian in Paris. Pilot served in both World Wars and became president of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts.
