A Hungarian political propaganda poster by Mihaly Biro, 1920. The poster depicts a powerful worker's hand holding a snake, a bag of gold, and a newspaper. The newspaper is inscribed Arbeiter Zeitung, Workers Newspaper. Signed Biro upper left. Mihai Biro, 1886 to 1948, is a Jewish Budapest native considered the founder of political poster art worldwide.
