ANTIQUE ENGRAVINGS BY WILLIAM WILLIAMS OXFORD COLLEGES - Three antique engravings by William Williams, fl. 1724 to 1733, each presenting architectural and historical depictions of Oxford University colleges and halls. The first, Collegium Reginense, Queens College, features a detailed plan with a key and scale, flanked by a coat of arms with three griffins and a dedication cartouche to Rev. I. Gibson, with a Latin history beneath. The second engraving, Aula S. Albani, St Albans Hall, shows a façade with gabled windows and classical columns, above a plan with key and scale, and accompanying historical text. The third, Aula B. Mariae Magdalenae, Magdalen College, includes a grand elevation, architectural layout with key and scale, a cartouche dedicated to Digby Cotes, and a historical Latin inscription.
