An oil painting on canvas depicting a rural genre scene. Signed, Ara, lower right. Krishnaji Howlaji Ara, Indian, 1914 to 1985, was a part of the Progressive Artists Group in Bombay and was a founder of the Artists Centre in Mumbai. Oriental Fine Art, Portrait and Genre Scene Paintings. One of a kind artwork.
