MODERN CHINESE CANADIAN OIL PAINTING BY CHUI WANG - Chui Wang, Chinese, Canadian, oil painting on canvas depicting a Canal Lachine scene with boats in Montreal. Signed lower right. Framed. Additionally titled and inscribed, on the backside. Provenance: bought ten years ago from the Gallery Le Balcon dart, Saint Lambert, Quebec. Chui Wang was born in April 1948 in Hunan, China. Until 1989 he was a professor at the National Higher School of Fine Arts in Beijing. From 1989 to 1990, thanks to a scholarship, he made a study trip to the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Montpellier. In September 1990 he left for Quebec where he has lived ever since. A specialist in oil painting, his works have been exhibited: in China, in Changde Changsha, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Beijing, and Monkin. Around the world: in Hong Kong, Tokyo, New York. In France Salon dAutomne 1989, French Artists, Universe of Arts in 1996. His works have been published in many art journals in China and abroad. One of a kind artwork.
