ANTIQUE 1833 RUSSIAN IMPERIAL MARINE SWORD W SCABBARD - An antique Russian Imperial Marine sword with scabbard, circa 1833. The sword has a curved steel blade with a brass hilt featuring an ornate guard and grip. The blade features an engraved inscription Zlatoust, January 1833. The scabbard is predominantly black with brass fittings at the top and bottom, and it rests alongside the sword, slightly detached. Zlatoust is a Russian town based in the Ural region famous for its arms factory.
