ANTIQUE OIL PAINTING JACOB SALOMONSZ VAN RUYSDAEL
Jacob Salomonsz van Ruysdael, Dutch, 1629 to 1681, an oil painting on canvas, Landscape with Hunters and Dogs. Signed with monogram, JvR, in lower right. Presented in a wood and gesso gilt frame. Circa: 1630s. A gold tone plate with the name of the artist and the title, on the front of the frame. Provenance:It came from the private collection of Mr. Steve Yates Tequesta, FL and and was personally examined by Ms.Barbra Haeger, a professor of History of Art at Ohio State University, renowned for her scholarly work in Northern Baroque art. She expressed the opinion that the painting is by the hand of Jacob Salomonsz van Ruysdael and appraised by the several art specialists including Christies NY. Jacob Salomonsz. van Ruysdael was a Dutch Golden Age landscape painter. Antique European Fine Art, Landscape Scene Paintings, and Collectibles. One of a kind artwork.
