RUSSIAN CONSTRUCTIVIST COVER BOOK BY OSIP BRIK
A Russian book, Ne Poputchitsa, Not a Fellow Traveller, by Osip Maksimovich Brik. The first edition original pictorial wrappers designed by Anton Lavinskii, from a preliminary design by Mayakovsky. Moscow, Gosudarstvennoe izdatelstvo, 1923. Osip Brik was a prominent figure in Russian Futurism, not least as the subject for Rodchenkos iconic design that showed the bespectacled Brik with the reflected acronym of the magazine LEF, of which Brik was co founder.
