19TH C SWISS CARVED WOOD LION PAPERWEIGHT FIGURE
A 19th century Swiss paperweight in the form of a sculpture depicting a recumbent lion resting on a shield, commemorating the Swiss Guards of Louis XVI. The sculpture is carved from wood. The base bears the Latin inscription HELVETICORUM FIDEI AC VIRTUTI, meaning To the Faith and Valor of the Swiss. Swiss, European Figurines, Figures, Statues, Home Decor, Interior Design, and Collectibles.
