GERMAN WWII BATTLE FOR STALINGRAD CIGARETTE CASE
A World War II type German stainless steel cigarette case. The front cover is decorated with an embossed coat of arms which presents th German cross, Reichsadler with swastika, inscriptions 1942-1943, Stalingrad. The holder inside the case is marked SS RZM WaA142. The Battle of Stalingrad was a major battle on the Eastern Front of World War II which took place in Southern Russia from August 1942 to February 1943. It was the deadliest battle of the Second World War and is one of the bloodiest battles in the history of warfare.
