Vasily Yakovlevich Sitnikov, Russian, American, 1915 to 1987, tempera painting on canvas depicting a couple of nude flying people against fantasy background. Signed and dated 1983 lower right. Additionally inscribed, dated and titled on the back. Framed. The back side has a MT. Kisco Frame Shop LTD label attached. Vasily Sitnikov is a Russian artist, painter and graphic artist, known for Russian city scene, nude figure, buildings painting. Representative of the post war unofficial art. One of a kind artwork.
