A Russian Soviet era lithographic propaganda poster, Poyeszhai za morya i okeany, Go Beyond the Seas and Oceans by M. Bubnov. The poster is set to the words of a patriotic poem by M. Isakovsky, The Song of the Soviet Union. Isakovskys work was originally published as a poem, and was not turned into a real song until 1945, with musical score supplied by M. Kolosov. Published by Iskusstvo, Moscow, Leningrad, 1940. Circulation of 100 000 copies. Russian Soviet Propaganda and Military Posters, Graphic Art Prints, and Collectibles.
