LARGE RUSSIAN SILVER AND SANDSTONE MATCH HOLDER - A large, Russian match holder and striker made from silver and sandstone and is shaped like a round, almost spherical, vessel with a wide opening at the top. The sandstone body has a rough earthy texture. The holder is garnished with raised silver leaves and roses that circle the top rim. The holder is mounted on three silver bear paws that serve as feet.
