RUSSIAN GILT SILVER AND ENAMEL KOVSH TEA GLASS HOLDER - A Russian gilt silver and enamel tea-glass holder with convex upper part of the body and on circular convex base with four bracket feet. The glass holder is made in the shape of a traditional Russian kovsh with a raised handle. Gilt wash inside. The exterior of the ware is enameled with polychrome scrollwork and geometrical patterns made in the cloisonne technique. Hallmarked with the 88 Russian silver proof and manufacturer marks.
