A lot of two items, a sterling silver candle holder and a French bronze box by Maison Giroux. This antique three-candle candle holder is marked Sterling Reinforced with Cement on the bottom. Raised on four round feet, the bronze box is decorated with a foliate engraved pattern and round inlays in green and red. Marked Maison Alp. Giroux on the bottom. Maison Alphonse Giroux was established in 1799 by Francois Simon Alphonse Giroux, an art restorer, cabinet maker and one of the official restorers for the Notre Dame Cathedral.
