AMERICAN ABSTRACT OIL PAINTING BY EMERSON WOELFFER
Oil on canvas painting by Emerson Seville Woelffer, 1914 to 2003, an American Abstract Expressionist artist and arts educator at Chouinard Art Institute. Woelffer worked in broad color fields with incorporated gestural expressiveness, and this lot is a fine example of the artists pictorial manner. The artwork depicts an abstract landscape with horses and cows. Signed by the artist and dated 1963 in the lower left. Wooden frame. Collectible Mid Century Modernist Fine Art.
