An antique 19th-century Russian Orthodox icon depicting Virgin Mary with Christ Child in the Eleusa iconography. Feodorovskaya type, also known as Our Lady of Saint Theodore, the patron icon of the Romanov family. Mixed media painting: egg tempera, gesso, and levkas on a wood board with gilding. Condition
Overall good vintage condition. Signs of wear and age. Has scuffs and stains. Has chips and cracks in paint and in wood. Refer to photos. Sold as is.
