After Rene François Ghislain Magritte, Belgian, 1898 to 1967, a color lithograph print on paper created after the original 1928 oil on canvas painting Les Amants, The Lovers. Signed lower right and numbered 2 of 150 lower left. Matted and framed. Bears the gallery stamp Macondo Gallerie DArt on verso. Rene Magritte was a surrealist artist known for his depictions of familiar objects in unfamiliar, unexpected contexts, which often provoked questions about the nature and boundaries of reality and representation.
