Marie Molinary is known for Still life, marine, and landscape painting. Marie Seebold was encouraged at a young age to be an artist. She became well known for her still lifes of fruits and flowers, but also created portraits, landscapes and genre paintings. Marie Seebold studied in New York with William Merritt Chase and in Chicago at the Art Institute of Chicago. She was the second woman member of the New Orleans Art Association.
