RUSSIAN SOVIET DESERT PHOTOGRAPH BY GEORGY ZELMA
A vintage Russian Soviet Desert photograph by Georgy Zelma. The fine photo depicts the desert of Tashkent. Stamped with the name of the artist and date 1984 on the back side. Georgy Anatolyevich Zelma, 1906 to 1984, was a Soviet photographer and photojournalist. Photojournalist for Izvestia, Ogonyok, Krasnaya Zvezda and other publications, magazines in the 1920s and 1930s, a war photojournalist on the battlefields of the Great Patriotic War. He was engaged in photography for over 60 years. The artists works are in the collection of The Museum of Modern Art, New York. Vintage Russian Soviet Photos and Memorabilia For Collectors.
