CHINESE FRENCH STILL LIFE PAINTING AFTER SANYU
An oil painting on masonite depicting potted chrysanthemums after Sanyu, or Chang Yu, Chinese French, 1901 to 1966. Signed lower right. Additionally inscribed to the back. Framed. Sanyu created prints, drawings, and paintings. His work fused the histories of European still-life and figurative painting with the traditions of Chinese calligraphy.
