RUSSIAN SILVER ENAMEL CROSS PENDANT WITH PEARLS
A Russian gilt silver Orthodox cross pendant. The pendant is decorated with multicolor enamels and embellished with gemstones to the front. Adorned with the Monomakhs cap on top, and three pearl drops are mounted to the bottom. The back holds an engraved cross and the dates 1794 and 1994. The cross was made in the same shape as the cross to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the reign of the Romanov dynasty. Hallmarked with the manufacturer and an 88 Russian silver standard proof mark, a makers mark, and other marks, on the backside and the suspension ring.
