Late Edo era, mid-19th century. The print depicts two kabuki actors as the characters Karigane Bunshichi and Nuretsubame Kosan. Dated 1858. Kabuki is a classical form of Japanese theatre, mixing dramatic performance with traditional dance that originated during the early Edo period. Collectible Asian Oriental Graphic Art, Kabuki Theater.
