Scott Kennedy, American, born 1958, lithograph on paper, Racing Tranquility. Signed lower right. Titled lower to the center. Inscribed in the print, Lithographed in U.S.A. by Tab, lower left. Framed. A paper label is on the backside. Scott Kennedy is an internationally collected artist known for his animals, landscapes, and portraits. Scott Kennedy is and artist with an exceptional diversity of style and medium. He is always exploring new techniques and methods to best express his work. His subject range within the broad spectrum of the West paintings of wilderness, wildlife, fly fishing, dog sledding and figures of those who inhabit the Western landscape. He works in watercolor, pencil, acrylic, oil and bronze. His most recent and exciting works are in oil and are composed with what appears to be a mature balance of detail and texture along with rich glazing, unique compositions, and use of dark and light.
