CHINESE CARVED ROSE QUARTZ KIRIN FIGURES W STANDS
Vintage Chinese finely carved rose quartz figures representing a matched pair of Kirin creatures. The heads are turned back and bending one front leg. Kirin usually has the features of a Chinese dragon, similar heads with horns, manes that always flow upwards, and beards. The body is completely or partially covered with scales and often has the shape of a bull, a deer, a horse, or a goat. The figures are mounted on carved wooden stands.
