An antique colored engraving on paper by Henry Alken, titled Arabian. The artwork depicts a fine Arabian horse. The text below: London, Published by T. Mc Lean, Jan. 1, 1820. The item is signed by Henry Alken and entitled, matted, and framed. Henry Thomas Alken, 1785 to 1851, was an English painter and engraver chiefly known as a caricaturist and illustrator of sporting subjects and coaching scenes.
