Marc Lagrange, Belgian, 1957 to 2015, sheet fed gravure photograph, Snakes and Ladders, depicting a portrait of a nude woman, 2010. Printed in Italy. Unsigned. Marc Lagrange was a Belgian art photographer, best known for his nude compositions. Filled with longing and sensuality, Marc Lagranges photographs celebrate fantasies and desire placing beauty and dreams at the center of his world. Privileging analog over digital, the Antwerp based Belgian artist searches for intimacy and emotion as opposed to artificial effects.
