Signed and dated, lower to the center. Stamped with a coat of arms, Ante Mare Undae, and marked with the New York Gallery paper label, on the backside. Jean Marc Nattier was a French painter. He was born in Paris, the second son of Marc Nattier, a portrait painter, and of Marie Courtois, a miniaturist.
