An anti American Cold War Russian Soviet era propaganda lithographic poster on paper, Vote for Freedom and Democracy, by Viktor Ivanovich Bokovnya, Russian, Soviet era, born 1946. Signed by the atist, on the backside. Printed poem by Efim Efimovsky, Russian, Soviet era, born 1946, to the center right. Edited by I. Astapov. Published by Combat Pencil, Boevoi Karandash, Artist of RSFSR, numbered 3530, M 17910, 19.01.81, one of 2056, Leningrad, 1981. Marked and copyright in the print, lower right. Viktor Bokovnya is a Soviet graphic artist, illustrator, poster artist, master of caricature, collaborated with the Krokodil magazine for many years. Famous illustrator of children's books, author of drawings for many works of prose and poetry. Boevoi Karandash is a creative association of Leningrad artists who produced propaganda posters and collections of satirical drawings in the middle of the 20th century.
