An Anti American Cold War Russian Soviet era propaganda lithographic poster on paper, Taking Care of The Needs of the People is Always at Our Best, from the Boevoi Karandash series, by Vladimir Bronislavovich Mileiko, Russian, Soviet era, 1948 to 2009. Printed poem by A. Shklyarinsky, upper right. Edited by I. Astapov. Published by Combat Pencil, Boevoi Karandash, Artist of RSFSR, numbered 3287, M 16756 3 VIII 1978, Leningrad, 1978. Marked and copyright in the print, lower left. Boevoi Karandash is a creative association of Leningrad artists who produced propaganda posters and collections of satirical drawings in the middle of the 20th century. This phenomenon of mass art is often referred to as such. Mileiko Vladimir Bronislavovich Mileiko was a famous satirist, cartoonist, poster artist, illustrator. Member of the Union of Artists and the Union of Journalists of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region. The author of propaganda posters, during his creative life he designed more than a dozen childrens books. Russian and Soviet Propaganda and Military Posters, Graphic Art Prints, and Collectibles.
