Lev Borodulin, Russian, Soviet, 1923 to 2018, an acrylic on photo artwork The Joy of Victory, 1968, printed later. The artwork depicts a gelatin silver printed photo of Serge Reding on an abstract white, blue and red painted background. Signed by the artist and inscribed on the lower margin: The Joy of Victory, S. Reding, Belgium, Mexico - 68, L. Borodulin. Note: Lev Borodulin was a widely recognized classic of Soviet photography and a legendary sports photographer. Serge Yvan Arthur Reding, 1941 to 1975 was a Belgian heavyweight weightlifter.
