An ancient Olmec mask from Pre Columbian America made of green stone, possibly marble. This is a mans face with big eyes and full lips. There are through holes in the forehead area. Such round holes were very characteristic of the Olmec civilization. Through holes could be used for hanging earrings and other jewelry. Comes with a stand. The Olmecs flourished during Mesoamericas formative period, dating roughly from as early as 1500 BCE to about 400 BCE.
