The icon depicts Christ holding the New Testament in his left hand and making the gesture of teaching or of blessing with his right. Mixed media painting: egg tempera, gesso, and levkas on a wood board. Titled in Church Slavonic, upper and to the center right and left. Circa: mid to the late 19th century.
