A Russian Soviet era post card with a historical color printed photo depicting a portrait of smiling Soviet pilot astronaut Yuri Gagarin. The photo is signed by Yuri Gagarin, to the center right. Inscribed in Cyrillic and signed by Yuri Gagarin in the print, lower to the center. Published by Pravda, 1961. Marked on the backside. Yuri Gagarin was a Soviet Air Forces pilot and cosmonaut who became the first human to journey into outer space, achieving a major milestone in the Space Race; his capsule, Vostok 1, completed one orbit of Earth on 12 April 1961.
