A Modern oil painting on canvas depicting a portrait of Jesus Christ after the original oil painting, representation of Jesus Christ, extracted from the painting Christ And The Rich Young Ruler, 1889, by Heinrich Hoffmann, German, 1824 to 1911. Unsigned. Framed. Heinrich Ferdinand Hoffmann was a German historical painter, illustrator and teacher, holder of the Order of Albrecht. He studied the art of drawing first in his hometown, then improved his artistic skills with Ferdinand Theodor Hildebrandt and Friedrich Wilhelm von Schadow at the Dusseldorf Academy of Arts. Hoffmanns artworks are distinguished by a subtle sense of beauty, strong color and diligent execution. One of a kind artwork.
