An antique oil on copper Flemish old master painting depicting a multi figure Adoration of the shepherds scene. Circa 18 century. After the original painting of Frans Francken II, created between 1620 and 1630. Housed in a gilt frame. Frans Francken the Second, 1581 to1642, Flemish painter and draftsman of the Baroque era. He became famous for his small and elegant cabinet paintings on historical, mythological and allegorical subjects. The most famous and most productive member of a large family of hereditary artists in Flanders in the 16th and 17th centuries.
