Erte or Romain de Tirtoff, Russian, French, 1892 to 1990, limited edition color lithograph on wove paper, The Great Dane Collection: Yellow Turban from Turban suite, 1979. Signed in pencil, lower right. Numbered, 3 of 300, lower left. Matted. Romain de Tirtoff was a Russian and French artist and designer known by the pseudonym Erte, from the French pronunciation of his initials. He was a 20th century genuis artist, graphic artist, illustrator, set designer, fashion designer, sculptor of the Art deco era, Russian origin, who worked in Paris and Hollywood.
