A large set of Russian magazines Continent in hard cover from 1 to 71 issues. Literary, socio political and religious magazine. Publishing house Continent. Produced in Moscow, Paris and Munich from 1974 to 2013. Chief editors: Vladimir Maksimov from 1974 to 1992 and Igor Vinogradov from 1992 to 2013. The Continent magazine was founded in Paris in 1974 as the voice of free Russian thought, the Russian and pan European anti communist liberation movement. Regular authors and editorial board members included four Nobel Prize winners. The magazine was published four times a year. In an open discussion, various opinions were expressed about life and literature, the past, present and future of Russia. With great difficulty, issues of the magazine reached the Soviet Union, where reading it could lead to imprisonment.
