ANCIENT CHINA SONG DYNASTY GLAZED CERAMIC BOWL
For your consideration, ancient Imperial China, Song Dynasty, ca 960 to 1278 CE, hand built pottery porcelain bowl with tall walls and squat feet. Great piece with a gray to green celadon glaze finish and silhouetted vertical and floral motifs on the exterior surface done with matte finish, hard to notice. Minimalist construction and elegant shape. Provenance: Private Lumberton, Texas, USA Collection, acquired before 2010. NOTE: base is a courtesy of the auction house, not an original matching part, but a gift to our buyers.
