Mixed media painting: egg tempera, gesso, and levkas on a wooden board. The icon is overlaid with a gilt Silver oklad or riza, adorned with repousse decor and engraved detailed patterns. Inscribed upper right and left. Marked with an 84 standard Silver hallmark, and other Cyrillic and Assay marks. Russian Orthodox Religious Items and Collectibles.
