An antique Russian Orthodox icon of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, hand painted with tempera on a wooden panel. Saint Nicholas is depicted frontally half figured wearing special clothes, blessing with his right hand and holding Bible with his left one. A mixed media painting: egg tempera, gesso, and levkas on wooden panel. Circa 19th century. Antique Russian Religious Items and Collectibles.
