Mixed media painting: egg tempera, gesso, and levkas on a wood board. The icon features an embossed 84 silver riza or oklad, adorned with chased and engraved traditional detailed patterns. Circa: mid to late 19th century. The icon of Jesus Christ the Almighty is one of the central images of the Christian iconography of the Savior. Marked with an 84 Russian Imperial silver standard, Cyrillic assay mark I.E under the date 1887, crossed anchors for St. Petersburg and the makers mark FC.
