HELIOGRAVURE BY CHARLES AMAND DURAND AFTER REMBRANDT - Heliogravure on paper by Charles Amand-Durand, 1831 to 1905, a French printmaker and pioneer of photogravure technique, author of a series of facsimiles of old master prints. The lot is a reproduction of the 1648 engraving titled Self Portrait, Drawing at the Window by Rembrandt van Rijn, 1606 to 1669, a prominent Dutch Golden Age artist.
