An antique 19th century French Limoges enamel plaque depicting a typical 18th century scene of a courting couple in an interior. Hand painted in polychrome enamel on a copper plaque, possibly after the painting by Frederic Soulacroix, French, 1858 to 1933. Inscribed lower left: Dorval D apres Soulacroix. Housed in a Neoclassical-style frame decorated with a velvet trim. Antique French Enameled Paintings And Collectibles.
